Can't reproduce that. Can you, after the failing test, do
cd /var/tmp/portage/mail-mta/courier-0.64.1/work/courier-0.64.1/rfc2045
/bin/sh ./testsuite &> /tmp/testsuite-output.txt

and then attach the file /tmp/testsuite-output.txt to this bug?

Comment 4 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2010-07-05 10:34:46 UTC
Can you try the whole thing again with 0.65.0 and if it still fails, paste me again the testsuite-output?
(the test had some changes upstream and I don't want to report failures with an old version)
Comment 5 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2010-07-05 10:35:41 UTC
Just saw this in the latest changelog:
"• Fix 'make check' failure if libidn is not available at configure time."

(but not for 0.65.0, but for the latest snapshot)

Do you have libidn installed?

USE="ldap" failure

I have libidn installed, and the tests get passed susscessful on my x86 box.
But it fails to compile with USE="ldap" (0.64.1 as well as 0.65.0)!

build.log for 0.65.2

courier-0.65.2 seems to pass all tests on my box. I don't have libidn installed.
Comment 9 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2011-03-17 22:32:38 UTC
This was fixed by upstream in a recent version
