When I run 'xine', X crashes after an unpredictable but short time. This crash does not affect other X servers running on other virtual terminals. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run xine 2. Move mouse over controls; move xine window around Actual Results: X crashes, leaving me at the terminal (but with an uncorrupted video card) Expected Results: xine should have continued to run, and X should not have crashed Using the dri.sf.net updated i810 drivers. how about 0.9.22 ? which xine-lib ?
I'm using xine-lib 1_beta12 - I'll test xine-ui 0.9.22 and xine-lib 1_beta12 once it finishes compiling.
please test newer xine-lib (rc1 or rc2)
Bug continues to occur with latest ~x86 xine-lib (1_beta12). media-video/xine-ui-0.9.22 fails to compile however, as it tries to #include aalib.h which is not on my system, so I can't test it with that.
emerge media-libs/aalib should help you
The bug still occurs with -rc2.
try turn down your CFLAGS also 0.9.23 of xine-ui and 1_rc3-r1 are in cvs
seems to be fixed
