With sci-visualization/qtiplot-0.9.7.14 I cannot turn off the "keep aspect ratio" mode for 2D plot layers. In earlier versions (including qtiplot-0.9.7.13) there had been a "keep aspect ratio" checkbox on the "Geometry" tab in the "Plot details" dialog window. Although I could uncheck that checkbox only "for current session" (meaning that after closing this dialog window the checkbox becomes checked again), but it was much more convenient, because while the window is opened and the "keep aspect ratio" checkbox is unchecked I could change the width and height of my plot separately. Looks like the option to change the default behaviour (menu "Edit" -> "Preferences..." -> "2D Plots" -> "Geometry" -> "Keep aspect ratio") have never worked properly. I checked it for QtiPlot-0.9.12, QtiPlot-0.9.13 and QtiPlot-0.9.14 today. The checkbox becomes checked again after I close the default settings window. I have also reported this bug upstream. Yes, looks like this has been fixed in sci-visualization/qtiplot-0.9.7.14-r1 too. At least, I can see the "keep aspect ratio" checkbox where it should be. :)
