Known problem, see bug 313865 comment #2.
Comment 3 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2010-05-27 17:54:11 UTC
Could you restrict tests or, at least, make their failure not die? Thanks

I'd much prefer to have this properly fixed, instead of adding such workarounds.
Comment 5 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2010-05-27 21:50:39 UTC
But are you sure keeping it failing will help to find a fix for this? Well... you are the maintainer, then, feel free to do what you think it's better. It was simply a suggestion ;-)

I would prefer to have something like:

src_test() {
        emake -j1 \
                EMACS="${EMACS}" \
                EMACSFLAGS="${EMACSFLAGS} -L srecode" \
                utest || ewarn "tests failed, if you are updating from older version, you probably hit bug #321499"
}

That way, it would point people to this bug report and, maybe, anyone with more knowledge than me could find a proper solution.

Is this still an issue with cedet-1.0?
Comment 7 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2010-09-11 15:42:44 UTC
Looks to fix the problem :-D
