Please post your 'emerge --info' output, and also your Xorg.0.log might be useful

I tested warsow on other laptop with same Gentoo and almost same hardware - it works fine after remounting /home without 'noexec', please add ewarn about mount options.

Laptop where game works: 1440x900, DPI 98
Laptop where game does not work: 1920x1200, DPI 146

noexec isn't relevant if this is a bug about using a high DPI value.
