Description Martin Lambers 2003-10-27 14:26:02 UTC
lirc-0.6.6-r1 contains the command /usr/bin/rc. Because /usr/bin is included in
$PATH before /sbin, this shadows Gentoo's /sbin/rc (from sys-apps/baselayout).
One also gets confused when typing "man rc" ;-)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge app-misc/lirc
2. rc
3. man rc

Actual Results:
When calling the rc command, /usr/bin/rc is called instead of /sbin/rc.

Expected Results:
I expected /sbin/rc to be called

Suggestion: rename the rc executable (and the man page) from the lirc package to
lirc-rc? There should not be a second command called rc.
