Description Philipp 2010-05-22 13:23:22 UTC
If I disable the truetype useflag and compile rxvt-unicode with gcc-4.5 and -O2 or -O3,
it will be totally broken. It starts up but it doesn't draw properly, nor does it handle any input.
With -O1 one can work with it, but it still has drawing issues.
This didn't happen with gcc-4.4.

I created a new ebuild that always passes
--enable-xft to configure, which seems to fix the problem.

Same issue with rxvt-unicode-9.09
Comment 3 Alex Alexander (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-22 19:20:26 UTC
This should be fixed in 9.10, according to the changelog and my testing, could you verify please?
Comment 4 Thomas Sachau gentoo-dev 2010-12-24 00:02:15 UTC
According to my testing, it works with gcc-4.5.1, rxvt-unicode-9.10 and USE=-truetype, so this looks like it was fixed.

Works here as well. Sorry for the late answer. I think this can be closed now.
