Here is my list of suggestions for the LiveCD:
1- CDRTools -> very useful!
2- lynx -> some brazillian adsl-scripts need him to connect! (id-velox.sh)
3- Fix the kde-package, 'cause he is not intalling the fam-oss
4- Configure links2 to work with svgalib (fbdev)
5- Include memtest86 on grub LiveCD boot

memtest has been included for the last 4+ livecds, 
links2 is being worked on for svgalib support
kde-package??

cdrtools will not be included on basic cds
