Description Leonid Podolny 2010-05-17 21:22:25 UTC
After a recent update, I receive a following error when trying to emerge world:

---------------
leonid@looptop ~ % sudo emerge -uDpvN @world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

Total: 0 packages, Size of downloads: 0 kB

!!! One or more updates have been skipped due to a dependency conflict:

media-sound/phonon:0

('ebuild', '/', 'media-sound/phonon-4.4.1', 'merge') conflicts with
    media-sound/phonon[gstreamer,-aqua] required by ('installed', '/', 'x11-libs/qt-qt3support-4.6.2', 'nomerge')

Comment 2 Leonid Podolny 2010-05-17 21:28:13 UTC
On the other hand, I already have gstreamer on my system because media-sound/phonon needs even if a USE flag is off.
Don't know if it's a bug.

The problem just went away after re-sync.
Closing the bug.
