When a person tries to use a headset with bluez-4.63, bluetoothd will crash during a null dereference. See the link provided, specifically where it says: Fix invalid memory access in headset_get_nrec function. bluez-4.64 fixes this bug and allows a person to use a headset without a crash. I have not confirmed that the headset actually can play audio yet. http://git.kernel.org/?p=bluetooth/bluez.git;a=blobdiff;f=ChangeLog;h=fc4bbe111ddf9b3d507f3690db44c489d6ff86dd;hp=804c465832aa99cf609ee017a2ee7131b538afe3;hb=9e379872b06410c5e5696e5043c36e125defa51f;hpb=16f0eeda607adc88ae75a8d15b3362bf23191be0
