There have been two releases since the last update in Portage:

U-Boot-2010.03 was released on Wed, 31 Mar 2010. (Statistics)

U-Boot-2009.11 was released on Tue, 15 Dec 2009. (Statistics)

bumping every time really makes no sense since the tools/ dir often doesnt see updates.  in this case, there was really only one minor change in 2010.03.
