The media-video/vlc ebuilds (currently all of them: vlc-1.0.6, vlc-1.0.9999, vlc-1.1.9999, vlc-1.1.0_pre4, vlc-9999) have an RDEPEND on media-libs/libdvdplay

However, according to http://www.videolan.org/developers/libdvdplay.html :
"NOTE: libdvdplay is no longer under active development. VLC has switched to libdvdnav which appears to be more reliable for DVD navigation than libdvdplay"

This appears to be true, I can't find any reference to dvdplay in the VLC source, and it's configure script only checks for libdvdnav.

This dependency seems OK to remove. (and perhaps media-libs/libdvdplay can then be slated for removal as only media-video/vlc currently depends on it)
