Description Benjamin Zink 2010-05-09 17:39:06 UTC
app-office/openoffice-3.2.0 build fails with error 65280 and states module scp2 needs to be rebuilt.

Reproducible: Didn't try

I haven't tried to reproduce it yet because of the large amount of time it takes to build openoffice.

Compressed file
build.log

Please include a good compressed build.log

tar xzvf build.log.tar.gz
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

build.log.tar.gz

It appears something got messed up while uploading that last one. I downloaded it and it had a different md5sum then the one I had.

build.log.tar.gz

Same thing happened. I'm guessing user error: I shouldn't have selected plain text.

build.log.tar.bz2

Apparently that wasn't the problem. I am going to try the a tar.bz2 and if that doesn't work, I'll close chromium and try in firefox.

Here is an error about 66% of the way down:

dmake: Error code 137, while making '../../unxlngx6.pro/misc/base/module_base.jlf'

Might be easier to debug if you turned off parallel build, but since openoffice already takes forever-and-a-day not sure if you'll be up for that...
Comment 9 Benjamin Zink 2010-05-17 04:56:53 UTC
I did that after I filed the bug report. It compiled fine. However, I don't consider compiling -j1 to be a valid solution. It is a workaround.

So you have the same problem with 3.2.1? Builds fine here on multiple machines with -j5

No feedback, closing
