Description James Le Cuirot gentoo-dev 2010-05-09 08:43:59 UTC
The game Aquaria has been ported to Linux (seemingly by icculus) and is now temporarily available through the Humble Indie Bundle. The game's official site does not offer the Linux version yet and it is unclear what will happen when the bundle expires.

The bundle distributes it as a zip called aquaria-lnx-humble-bundle.mojo.run. I am hoping that when the game is made available elsewhere, this file will be unmodified and/or it will be possible for buyers of the bundle to get updates.

I've just noticed that this version is actually 1.1.3, according to the menu screen.

Thanks for the quick response! But actually it was announced last night that it'll be going open source very very soon. I'll prepare another ebuild when that happens.

Progress report for anyone watching. Now that the game is open sourced, I'm creating two separate ebuilds, one for the engine and one for the game. I've already completed the engine ebuild but I'll upload it when I know it works. At that time, I'll also create a new bug report because this one is closed.
