Description John (EBo) David 2010-05-08 05:12:57 UTC
One of my colleagues at the National Wetlands Research Center sent me a link to an article on the oil spill:

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/05/01/us/20100501-oil-spill-tracker.html

When viewing the link with Firefox, I do not see the large purplish blob (the oil spill), but it does display properly using Konqueror.

I am using www-client/mozilla-firefox-3.6.3 on Gentoo updated as of this morning. emerge-info to follow.

it appears to be a problem with javascript being turned off. Why cant people who insist on having that *STUFF* embedded add eht extra line or tow that tests and warns that it is off... Uggg... sorry for wasting your time.

Oh, I also switched it to invalid as it is a site specific problem
