Description Chris Forkin 2003-10-24 00:18:42 UTC
The emerge of media-sound/mpg123/mpg123-0.59r-r3.ebuild fails at unpack stage
because of incorrect patchfile 003_alpha_compile.diff
The diff seems to contain a patch that is already contained in
001_all_mpg123_make-fix.diff. Removing the offending diff from the
patchfile 003_alpha_compile.diff does the job and the ebuild completes
successfully. In other words remove the diff (1st diff in patchfile) for
mpg123-0.59r/Makefile from 003_alpha_compile.diff.
I hope I have added enough information to be able to reproduce the problem.
I was surprised that noone had already discovered this as media-sound/mpg123
seems to be necessary to compile kde-base/kde.
  Chris.

I need toverify another alpha fix... I'll do this at the same time...

mpg123-0.59s-r1.ebuild is currently marked stable on alpha.
It probably wasn't when you filed this bug, but please use that one.
Make sure to "emerge --sync" since I majorly cleaned up the arch support in the ebuild. Thanks!
