perl-core/Archive-Tar-1.54 is no longer available on http://ftp.esat.net/pub/languages/perl/CPAN/authors/id/B/BI/BINGOS/ at least, can 1.58 or 1.60 be stabled?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge Archive-Tar
2. see 404 error from distfile server
3.




1.54 is latest stable on amd64 at least

I want to give you an alternative location to fetch that file as quick workaround 
 http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/Archive-Tar-1.54.tar.gz
or http://nash.fs.lmu.de/gentoo/distfiles/Archive-Tar-1.54.tar.gz .

( wget -P /usr/portage/distfiles http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/Archive-Tar-1.54.tar.gz ).

infra is not needed to be CC'd here. The Gentoo mirror system is working as designed. Being that if the end user has a valid mirror in GENTOO_MIRRORS (information not supplied, likely the problem), then the ebuild will still work even if if it disappears from SRC_URI (upstream).

Furthermore, the ebuild dev can change SRC_URI to mirror://gentoo/ as a location to download from instead.

Please set GENTOO_MIRRORS in /etc/make.conf: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-amd64.xml?part=1&chap=6#doc_chap1
