Looking at the URL stated above, ViewCVS will display "- No changes -" while there has in fact been a change: a space was added, fixing a bug. It would be nice if ViewCVS would reproduce this change.

I don't know if this is a known issue with ViewCVS, perhaps even one fixed in more recent releases. Can you investigate and take this upstream if appropriate?

Maybe it's hr_ignore_white = 1 in http://oss.segetech.com/bugz-svn-wiki/viewvc.conf . or a byt in the difflib of python,

Thanks for the research. The python fix is in Gentoo's python package >=python-2.6.5

I'll keep this open because we are going to update the viewcvs version that is deployed soon-ish.

python version doesn't matter, tested with 2.6.4-r1 & 2.6.5-r2.

Instead, there is a key in viewvc.conf called hr_ignore_white ;) I toggled that and it is on our test deployment to go live soon. Closing bug. Thanks.
