Hi, please don't be offended, but - don't mess them up my using linux in an intoxicated condition - is there anything that a sound set of chmod, chown and find -perm -exec can't fix? - does this support ACLs? Homepage doesn't write about it. well, identifying ELFs is a bit tricky but u can use scanelf or read the first 4 bits, scripts start with #! . If u really wan't an ebuild, uare free to write one and attach it, see http://devmanual.gentoo.org for details. And a personal note o the end, I would rater learn and use the tools i've mentioned than using as script that's know issue is "All files ...are assigned the same user ...".
