I manually (in my .xinitrc) disable keyboard auto repeat for some keys. After a suspend/resume, those settings are lost. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. xset -r 24 # disables auto-repeat for key 'a' 2. Make sure auto-repeat is disabled 3. Suspend to ram : echo -n 'mem' > /sys/power/state 4. Resume system : autorepeat for key 'a' is on again Actual Results: keyboard auto-repeat settings are forgotten Expected Results: keyboard auto-repeat should be remembered across a system suspend/resume I am using fluxbox, launched through a custom xinit script. The problem still appears when doing it "manually" in a shell. I ran an emerge -e system xorg-server two days ago. This sounds like a core-code bug. Please file a bug upstream [1] and paste the URL so we can track the issue directly. Thanks [1] https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xorg
