rsync1.de.gentoo.org is moving from elmer.gentoo-ev.org (213.239.219.3) hosted at Hetzner to banana.gentoo-ev.org (89.238.64.78) hosted at Manitu. Please enable the new IP in the ACL, but do not change the IP just yet.
Previous records show owner as: # rsync1.de :: Tobias Scherbaum :: stkn@gentoo.org,dertobi123@gentoo.org Are the three of you the new contact people? I added 89.238.64.78 to the ACL for rsync1.us.gentoo.org. Please an hour or so for the ACL update to propagate. We will keep this ticket open for future transition updates notices. Thanks.

The machine should now be ready for prime time, please add it to the EU rotation and replace the previous entry in DE. Thank you.
Adding to GARD for testing.
"Portage at rsync://rsync1.de.gentoo.org is lagging (delta is 00d 00h 53m 52s)" Could you guys check if the sync is happening every 30 minutes as it should?
That's surprising. It tells me it was syncing at 6:04 UTC (and is regularly so, every 30 minutes). I've been having a look at 7:20 UTC, the timestamp.chk was from 6:45 UTC -- which is correct, as far as i understand.
Do these warnings persist on the monitoring system? What's the timeline for DNS change?
Jeez, my bad. Setting GARD to test the correct IP. Sorry about the confusion.
Arun, sorry I was off IRC the recent days. Please go ahead wit the IP change as soon as you can.
I've changed the IP in the rsync1.de.g.o and .de rotations, and removed the old IP from the ACL, so you can kill it whenever you wish.
Could you also please add the host to the EU rotation? The fact that the previous host was missing from that seems to have been a mistake.
Done.
