Description Artem Baguinski 2003-10-22 04:34:37 UTC
if i run vim inside bare xterm and issue ':set mouse=a' mouse works (e.g. i can drag windows separator up and down)
if i run vim inside screen inside xterm it doesn't.

may be it has something to do with the fact that there's no screen.xterm terminfo record? i tried to run screen like this:

TERM=xterm-xfree86 screen

it doesn't help although the TERM inside screen is screen.xterm-xfree86 now

hmm... may be it isn't screen...

* mouse works in pine inside screen inside xterm
* but doesn't in vim inside screen inside xterm

Lots, but none of them that'll get anywhere without basic stuff like 'emerge info' output and vim versions...
