Bug 31674 – Javascript support partly broken in Galeon 1.3.9 on PPC

Go to http://groups.msn.com and click on the upper right button "Sign In", you
get a blank page and the Javascript console displays (built with either mozilla
1.4 or 1.5) :

Same URL works fine with Mozilla (1.4 and 1.5) and Epiphany on PPC, and with
Galeon 1.3.9 on x86.

seems ppc specific. can't produce with galeon 1.3.9 and mozilla 1.4 on x86.

does this happen with mozilla?

I cannot reproduce it here.

1. Yes it's PPC specific
2. No, doesn't happen with Mozilla or Epiphany
3. That's not the only site with this problem

I'll test with 1.3.10 as soon I've built it

Still broken with Galeon 1.3.10 on PPC. Another problem involving javascript
in Galeon 1.3.9 and 1.3.10 on PPC :

Some values of the form are updated with some javascript. When I submit,
the query sent is :
http://bugs.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=&=
=> That's an empty query and I receive any bug for any program...

I recently updated galeon to 1.3.12 on mozilla-1.6 and now it seems to work.

Please test and if this works, we will mask both stable on ppc.

I wasn't using Galeon anymore, but I emerged it and tested it both on gnome and msn websites : everything seems to work fine...
