Description Josh Sled 2010-04-22 18:08:58 UTC
Updated to recently-stabilized xorg-server-1.7.6.

Rebuilt xorg-drivers as directed for new ABI; previously xf86-video-nouveau was no longer in portage, so I keyworded:

=x11-drivers/xf86-video-nouveau-0.0.15_pre20100213
=x11-libs/libdrm-2.4.20
=x11-base/nouveau-drm-20100316

X now fails to start; xorg.log highlights:

Comment 2 Josh Sled 2010-04-22 18:16:05 UTC
I should also note I originally tried nouveau-drm-20100316 and xf86-video-nouveau-0.0.15_pre20100329 which resulted in a similar problem; I'll try that combination later to get more detail.

I'm not familiar with how these libraries fit together, so any pointers or recommendations of things to try are welcome, of course.
