As I did the version bump I feel responsible. But unfortunately I am unable to reproduce the error on any of my testing machines. Diego could you do me a favour and test if the package compiles either without forced asneeded or with ipv6 USE flag being disabled? I'd like to narrow this problem down a bit.
I'm more expecting an interaction with net-im/silc-toolkit: I still got the old 1.1.8 version installed, rather than 1.1.10 because silc-client does not *depend* on it (yet it seems to use it, at least standing by what I see in ./configure output — it checks for SILC and SILCCLIENT, likely through pkg-config).
Thanks, that was the hint I missed. Apparently silc-client is using silc-toolkit during compilation in case it is installed on the host. The funny side is, that it doesn't seem to be a runtime-dependency: # qlist -Ce net-im/silc-client | xargs scanelf -L -n -q -F '%n #F' | tr , ' ' | xargs qfile -Cq | sort -u dev-libs/glib sys-libs/glibc sys-libs/ncurses So I gonna add >=silc-toolkit-1.1.10 to DEPEND which should fix this bug. Please reopen if you don't agree.
