I'd like to mentor Tim Harder (radhermit@gmail.com) as a new Gentoo Developer. He's a graduate of OSU and has worked closely with the OSL in the past on various projects including the OSWALD [1]. Tim is interested in being an ebuild maintainer for various packages mostly tied to the embedded world. He's also interested in helping out with infra if there is help needed. He should be a perfect fit into our community! [1] http://beaversource.oregonstate.edu/projects/cspfl Reproducible: Always
Due to the recruiting backlog it will take from some weeks to couple months before we are able to process you. Hopefully this doesn't hurt your contributions too much in the meanwhile.
I sent my mentor-approved quizzes around a few weeks ago to recruiters. Is there anything else I can do to help expedite the process?
I will be your recruiter. Always add a comment to this bug when you send something to that address. As the quizzes are sent please contact me by IRC or email to schedule the first review session. If you think that recruiters aren't paying attention to this bug at any later point in time, it's your job to ping us on IRC if you don't want any delays.
First review session next Thursday 17UTC.
Second review session completed. Waiting on updated quizzes and ebuild cleanup.
(In reply to comment #5) > Second review session completed. Waiting on updated quizzes and ebuild cleanup. > status?
(In reply to comment #6) > status? Sorry, I was gone on vacation away from computers for a bit. I just have a few remaining issues with the ebuild to finish up that should be completed later today.
I've sent my updated quizzes and the ebuild cleanup to the recruiters. Awaiting next review session scheduling.
Next review session scheduled this Sunday at 17UTC.

Reopening because I'd like to retire as a dev.
(In reply to Tim Harder from comment #12) > Reopening because I'd like to retire as a dev. Thanks for your long service to Gentoo. We'll give the usual 14 days to reconsider -- just let us know if you do. If you ever wish to return, we do make it rather easy, so please drop us a line if that's ever somethign you're interested in.
