Description Andreas Simon 2002-05-29 04:41:52 UTC
After installing Gnome there is no 'Gnome' entry in KDM or GDM. It would be
nice to install a /etc/X11/Sessions/Gnome file, so that a nice 'Gnome' entry
shows up in KDM/GDM etc. I think gnome-session would be the best place for
such
a Session file.

Cheers,
Andreas

Cloning gnome-core
Comment 2 Andreas Simon 2002-05-29 17:23:21 UTC
Regarding cloning that base/gnome-core/files/Gnome file:
Some of those 'xrdb -merge' calls are allready done in
the brand new X11/xdm/Xsession file from xfree-4.2.0-r11.
;)

maintainer, I'm a lazy bastah ;)
Comment 5 Andreas Simon 2002-05-29 18:32:51 UTC
No, not to the XFree maintainer ;) It's allright that it's done in Xsession,
so it works for KDE, enlightment, etc too.
