After installing Gnome there is no 'Gnome' entry in KDM or GDM. It would be nice to install a /etc/X11/Sessions/Gnome file, so that a nice 'Gnome' entry shows up in KDM/GDM etc. I think gnome-session would be the best place for such a Session file. Cheers, Andreas
thanks, didn't think of that *sheepish grin* Cloning gnome-core
Regarding cloning that base/gnome-core/files/Gnome file: Some of those 'xrdb -merge' calls are allready done in the brand new X11/xdm/Xsession file from xfree-4.2.0-r11. ;)
commited this one too
well, that day that sorrow.. file another bug ;) (preferably to the xfree maintainer, I'm a lazy bastah ;)
No, not to the XFree maintainer ;) It's allright that it's done in Xsession, so it works for KDE, enlightment, etc too.
