The package is emerged with following USE flag: app-office/lyx-1.6.5 USE="X cups html latex nls rtf -debug -dia -docbook -dot -monolithic-build -rcs -subversion" The program would crash when press the backspace on an empty line if the outline view is turned on. The crashing gives the following message in the console: TocModel.cpp(268): type not found: TocModel.cpp(358): type not found: TocModel.cpp(268): type not found: TocModel.cpp(358): type not found: /home/hanselda/newfile1.lyx.emergency lyx: SIGSEGV signal caught Sorry, you have found a bug in LyX. Please read the bug-reporting instructions in Help->Introduction and send us a bug report, if necessary. Thanks ! Bye. Aborted The program would not crash if the outline view is not turned on. I think this can be a bug of lyx itself. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start the program and create an empty new document. 2. Turn on the outline from Document -> Outline. 3. input something and press Enter to start a new line. 4. Press the backspace to delete this new line.
