Description Pierre Gaigé 2010-04-16 18:17:58 UTC
Would like to see garmintools added to portage.

This software provides Linux users with the ability to communicate with the Garmin Forerunner 305 via the USB interface. More information here:

Ebuild for garmintools-0.10

ebuild that works on ~amd64.

This was never added? What is the reason for it? Should the the garmin-ant-downloader might be added as well/instead?

It seems that the newer garmin-ant-downloader should/could be added as a complement to this one since they target different versions of the Garmin ForeRunner hardware.
This is USB specific, while the other one is ANT+ specific.
Comment 4 Peter Asplund 2012-07-03 22:07:04 UTC
I've added the ebuild to my overlay and it still works for ~amd64.
