Hello, With nfs-utils-1.2.2 crossmnt option seems to be ignored. I have the following in /etc/exports: /home/ftp \ 10.0.0.0/8(ro,async,crossmnt,no_subtree_check,fsid=0,all_squash) \ 172.16.0.0/12(ro,async,crossmnt,no_subtree_check,fsid=0,all_squash) \ 192.168.0.0/16(ro,async,crossmnt,no_subtree_check,fsid=0,all_squash) \ 127.0.0.1/32(ro,async,crossmnt,no_subtree_check,fsid=0,all_squash) Exported directory contains several mount points for different hard drives. And they must be available on client because of crossmnt, but they are not: I see only empty dirs on mount points. After downgrade to version 1.2.1 everything works fine. Of course I have restarted all nfs-related services after both upgrade and downgrade. I can confirm the same problem exists with net-fs/nfs-utils-1.2.2-r1 When a "(rw,bind)" mounted filesystem is NFS exported, the underlying mount directory is exported, instead of the mounted filesystem itself.
crossmnt is still broken with nfs-utils-1.2.2-r2 and kernel-2.6.35.4.
This bug is finally fixed in nfs-utils-1.2.3. Looking forward for update in portage. See bug 339288 for details.
