Description Dustin Polke 2010-04-15 11:54:19 UTC
I have git-1.6.4.4 installed only, so tests are only run against this vcs. I don't know whether this is git-specific or other vcs fail as well.
After adding a file, the MD5 checksum check fails with something like

 * WRONG MD5_$someting

I will attach full build log later on.
I observe this failure on amd64 and arm similary.

Reproducible: Always

idl0r:
why did you revert my commit to the skel.ChangeLog? $Header$ and $Header: $ should be treated EXACTLY the same, as both of them expand.
Raised in this bug since you referenced it from your commit.

The echangelog test target compares md5sums so if something in the ChangeLog is different it'll fail.
echangelog itself has no problem with it, its just the test..

Where is the copy of that MD5 hash stored? I'm not sure that should even be checked

The test script is a mess but it works fine so far.
It ensures that all changelogs are equal for all supported VCS.
