try to remerge kdelibs

Unfortunately, this does not solve the problem. The results are the same.
Comment 4 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-31 09:46:53 UTC
Probably because kdirstat has some specific options set to build around kde
3.1 and not quite supportive of 3.2 yet. Looks like you're building against
3.2.
Comment 5 Arent Groebner 2003-11-01 00:13:46 UTC
> Looks like you're building against 3.2.

Yes, but not intentionally. I've got two KDE installations, 3.1.4 and 3.2-alpha2.
It is said that there are no problems having installed both versions because
they live in separate directories. But here it looks like there are some
subtle interferences.

Anyhow, since 3.2 final will be out in a couple of weeks, the problem will
propably disappear without taking any action.
Comment 6 Dominik Stadler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-02 15:10:53 UTC
I tried with a recent CVS-build of KDE 3.2 and kdirstat emerged without problems, you might want to try the recent KDE 3.2-RC.
Comment 7 Arent Groebner 2004-02-02 23:49:55 UTC
With KDE 3.2-RC the validity error is gone, but I still cant emerge. I dont know what to do now, if we should close the bug or not. Here's the new problem:

Comment 8 Arent Groebner 2004-02-04 11:46:31 UTC
Problem persisted with KDE-3.2-RC, but with KDE-3.2-FINAL everything is OK.
