Description Alexandre Borges Marcelo 2010-04-14 02:34:38 UTC
After installing, any attempt to run nwn resulted in:
./nwmain: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Manually installing app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-sdl resolved the issue.

No, the ebuild should depend on app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-sdl for amd64 but doesn't. Since I didn't have any other program depending on emul-linux-x86-sdl, it only worked after I manually installed it.
It's a hard to notice problem, since most people installing nwn also have some other program which does need emul-linux-x86-sdl...

Indeed, and one of the culprits here is nwmouse which depends on libsdl and which you tend to install with NWN...

Thanks, this is now fixed. And I think in my commit I credited people from another bug which was a duplicate filed after this one. Sorry about that.

Denis.
