The preference bar (http://prefbar.mozdev.org) is a very handy extension for
mozilla allowing you to quickly adopt your settings to some broken website
designs (like user-agent filtering etc..)

It would be nice, if it was part of the mozilla-firebird build, because XUL
extensions cannot be installed on a per-user basis

These days most XUL extensions can be installed in your profile directory on a per-user basis
