Description José Romildo Malaquias 2010-04-12 10:33:15 UTC
When I hit <enter> in mutt to display a message, it stops with a segmentation fault. The prior release (mail-client/mutt-1.5.20-r13) does not have this problem.

It is happening in both my ~amd64 notebook and desktop.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Portage 2.2_rc67 (default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop, gcc-4.4.3, glibc-2.11-r1, 2.6.33-gentoo-r1 x86_64)

Comment 1 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-12 11:53:40 UTC
Please attach the output of a gdb backtrace of mutt (or its subprocesses) segfaulting.
Comment 2 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2010-04-12 17:03:30 UTC
I already masked it for this reason. It doesn't do this for all messages though. I need some gdb dump, so if you have one, as jer explained, that would help.

Backtrace of mutt with segmentation fault.
Comment 4 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2010-04-12 19:40:48 UTC
Thanks! I made a fix in patchset 6.2, didn't bump as I want to test further first.
Comment 5 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2010-07-31 11:10:43 UTC
this should be fixed by now
