Description Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-12 07:46:45 UTC
This is a first-time stabilization, the package has been in the tree for about four months now.

Some docs for testing are at http://dev.gentoo.org/~phajdan.jr/logcheck.xml (they can't become a part of official docs until the package is stable).

It passed the tests here on x86, but personally i find it quite dangerous to send mails directly to a mailhub and not going thorough /usr/sbin/sendmail, where a queuing system is in place and nothing would get lost if the mailhub isn't available or doesn't accept the mail for some reason... :-/

What about stabilizing logcheck-1.3.8? I'm using it on my servers and it works nice... Since it's more then month in the tree I guess it's good idea to stabilize newer version...
