Description Bernd Wurst 2003-10-19 01:54:02 UTC
The command line FT uploading app "sitecopy" provides a graphical frontend
called xsitecopy included in the sitecopy source code distribution.
To enable ist, it needs the configure-option "--enable-gnomefe". This frontend
depends on gnome-libs.

I modified the recent ebuild for sitecopy-0.13.4 so that it builds xsitecopy
when "use gnome" is set. Please have a look at it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Sorry, sent this too early. :-(
I did the ebuild but it seems that the configure-script does not recognize
my options. Damn. :-( So if anyone got xsitecopy to build, it would be great
if this could be added to the ebuild, but simply passing the configure-option
did not work for me.

it was a bit hacky and it's not working 100%, but that's an upstream thing
, -r1 commited :)
Comment 4 Bernd Wurst 2003-10-19 08:12:15 UTC
Thanks a lot for your fast work, seems to be a little bug in the configure
script.

But there is a major problem now: If you have set use="gnome", there is no
executable named "sitecopy" any more. So it seems like either sitecopy or
xsitecopy is built. That was not what I wanted!
So it would be the best idea to introduce a separate ebuild for xsitecopy
that uses the same source file.

another few hacky sed's and this is fixed ;)
Comment 6 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-19 09:08:35 UTC
arg, not yet fixed, but i don't like the idea of a seperate package, cause
we have use flags for this
Comment 7 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-19 09:12:35 UTC
but now it's done :)
