I would like to propose including the synaptiks package with the kde system settings if INPUT_DEVICES is set to synaptics. I didn't know this package existed and would of been nice if it was included.

There is also kcm_touchpad, or you might use x11-misc/touchfreeze, and none of them are part of kde-base/

I suggest WONTFIX to this one until one of these modules get merged to kde-base/
