Description Andrew Gaffney (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-18 12:59:30 UTC
I emerged Mozilla 1.5 this morning. On any page I went to that had a password
text field, I was not able to enter text into that field. Any regular text
fields worked as normal. I tried restarting Mozilla and the same thing happened.
I downgraded to 1.4-r4 and everything is back to normal.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Let me know if this recurs without -mmmx or -m3dnow.
Comment 2 Andrew Gaffney (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-19 08:53:59 UTC
I removed "-mmmx -m3dnow" from my CFLAGS and no dice. Same result.
Comment 3 Andrew Gaffney (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-29 20:21:31 UTC
This is odd. For reasons other than this problem, I changed my CFLAGS to
"-march=athlon-tbird -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -mmmx -m3dnow". I re-emerged
mozilla-1.5 with the gtk2 USE flag. Mozilla wouldn't even run. If I ran it
from the command line, it would immediately return to the command line with
no output. I re-emerged mozilla-1.5 once again this morning without the gtk2
USE flag and *pow*, everything works as expected. *shrug*

Sounds like this bug can be closed...
