Description Rainer Größlinger (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-18 10:02:04 UTC
People who report bugs using the guided format include their 'emerge info' output.
For some bugs it would be helpful if the autoconf/automake version they
are using would be included.
Comment 1 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-02 09:27:24 UTC
which one since we use "virtuals" ?
Comment 2 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-02 09:54:50 UTC
The ebuild versions please.

I have another problem if nobody minds - could we split gcc info into what
version we get by running 'gcc -dumpversion', and also the ebuild version?
Revision do make a lot of difference some times ...
Comment 3 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-02 09:56:06 UTC
Hmm, we use auto switching, not virtuals, but there is no way that portage
can figure out what version was used outside the build environment, so ebuild
version is ok.
