4.2.9_beta is out, haven't checked out the changes yet, I suspect we need to change the ebuild quite a bit.

i'll have a look later on, so this is also reminder for myself

kmymoney-3.97.2 needs version 4.2.4 so this version will not work with it.
so this will have to wait for >=3.97.3 (or whatever the next release is versioned)

also i'm pretty sure this will roayaly screw gnucash over, given that we still have the 2.3.x series in package.mask. so adding gnucash maintainers in CC so they know to expect this blow.

to clarify: the "qbanking" backend is going away, and being actively replaced by "q4banking"

AqBanking 5.0 / Gwenhywfar 4.0 have been released. There is a patch for KMyMoney, too.
