I can't currently vote for any bug that I may also be experiencing. I'd like to see this feature so that you can tell people to vote for a bug that they may also experience. This would be simliar to the way that KDE has their bugzilla set up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Voting may be effective but in many cases it's just added gloat to bugzilla... If i search for pop3d and see 30 people voted for it, I'd visit it and it could be for a worse problem not relating to my issue. It's also possible that older bugs get more votes than newer ones and that wouldn't be ineffective. I have made some changes to the quicksearch on the homepage and on the guided format and that's as far as I'll go.
