Description Nathan Zachary (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-08 04:17:49 UTC
When one builds asunder-1.9.1 with vorbis-tools-1.2.0-r2 WITH ogg123 USE flag set, asunder will fail to extract full albums. When vorbis-tools-1.2.0-r2 is rebuilt without ogg123 support, asunder then works properly. These are both the currently stable packages, and it may not affect vorbis-tools-1.4.0, which is currently in the testing branch.

Reproducible: Always

I can't reproduce. It works just fine for me with vorbis-tools 1.2.0-r2 and USE +ogg123.

It's not a USE flag issue. Asunder is known to sometimes freeze when ripping/encoding.

Fortunately, Asunder 1.9.2, which was just released, should fix this bug, and a few other failures:

I've filed bug #315905 to get this version into Portage, as it works correctly. No crashing.

Excellent; thank you Josh. It seems like Samuli has already updated the tree with the new ebuild. I will mark this bug as resolved, considering the new upstream version.
