im running gs-sources with this option append = "panic=1 console=ttyS0" until version 2.4.22 i had no problem ... now i have some problems with scsi disk and it sometime cause kernel panic and system reboot since i installed and copiled 2.4.23_pre7-gss i had no problem untill first crash caused by my bad Scsi HDD...... so there is may be problem with something about reseting system due to kernel panic. i also got new msg in syslog spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7. whitch is related to LPT, whitch isnt compiled in my system i will check if is it off in BIOS.. anyway ... when i boot up 2.4.22 i do not have any of these symptoms Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
