One of the mirrors in the rsync.gentoo.org pool is out of sync. missing apps today include net-mail/f-prot-4.3.1 and app-portage/gentoolkit-0.1.32 Which brings me to suggest that the rsync-gentoo-portage script remove the "--quiet" flag because when I looked in my /opt/gentoo-rsync/rsync-gentoo-portage.sh.log file, all that was there was a timestamp of the last sync, and not the banner which would have made it easy to identify the offending mirror.
but running out of diskspace cause of logfiles ? rsync-gentoo-portage should only sync against rsync1 (main gentoo mirror) and should run as official gentoo-mirrors. closing
