When upgrading from KDE 3.1 RC3 to KDE 3.1.4, kdeaddons failed because it was compiling atlantikdesigner against atlantik header files installed by kdegames. kdeaddons was being upgraded prior to kdegames, so it was using the header files from KDE 3.1 RC3. kdegames needed to be upgraded prior to kdeaddons. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge kdegames 3.1 RC3 2. emerge kdeaddons 3.1.4 3. Probably also causes a problem if you install kdeaddons without kdegames at all?

I'm running into this same problem compiling kdeaddons-3.2.0_rc1 after kde-3.2.0_beta2. I'm trying the workaround of compiling kdegames-3.2.0_rc1 first.

I don't see why this is still open... The orig BR was about the missing kdeaddons->kdegames dep, which was long since added. And even bug #25834 has been closed as fixed.
