Description Slava 2010-04-02 18:58:50 UTC
Emerging of system-config-printer-common-1.1.18-r2 fails with an error saying "PYTHON(): Internal error in `eselect python show --python2`"
The command works fine if I run it from command line, show's Python2.6
This is a pre-req for KDE 4.4.2

We've found the problem. I had eselect-python-99999999 installed. Installing eselect-python-20100321 resolved the issue.

Glad I wasn't the only one that ran into this little snag. If you receive errors about python-wrapper not being found, just copy /usr/bin/python2.X to /usr/bin/python-wrapper.

Once that's been done, you can install the non-9999999 version. It will write over python-wrapper and give you a conflicting file error that can be ignored.
