The install has been aborted on three occasions at the emerge -k
sys-kernel/gentoo-sources stage of installation.  The message I receive is 

couldn't download gdbm-1.8.0.tar.gz .... aborting

I have tried to get help from the internet and gentoo install forum, but no fix
has been forthcoming.

This file is on our mirrors. Are you doing an install with internet access enabled?

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
