Per Betelgeuse's suggestion, might be worth adding a link to whatever gentoo policy docs there are for ML behaviour and/or http://www.dtcc.edu/cs/rfc1855.html to the webpage listing the mailing lists.
This was done some weeks ago per bug 222075. http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/lists.xml?r1=1.111&r2=1.112
The thing in question was cross posting to multiple mailing lists. The current text doesn't mention that.
(In reply to comment #1) > This was done some weeks ago per bug 222075. Minor suggestion, but uh... people aren't actually going to read that blurb at the end. Put it at the top- else people will just read how to subscribe, find the ml's they care about and then be on their merry way.
Not an infra-bug. Moving to docs-team because Josh made the change mentioned in comment #1

Added a larger colorized blurb at the beginning. I'm not moving the FAQ up to the top of the document, before any of the lists. Etiquette is still part of the FAQ, so it's gotta stay at the bottom. I did, however, also throw in a hyperlink so that folks can skip right past the lists and read the important stuff. Closing as fixed; review my changes once doc goes live in an hour or so.
