Recently Google released a new beta version of his browser.

In the portage tree there is already an ebuild for source based version, but binary was not updated.

Could you please ask someone to get it done?

I am sure that maintainer is well aware of new version available and he'll update the tree asap. Remember that you can use 'live' ebuild, i.e. chromium-bin-9999 to merge latest testing version of chromium.
